a "new" resolution

Inspired by Rebecca's post about posting a photo a day for the month of May, I am going to attempt the same "challenge" albeit with a slight twist.

For everyday in May (well starting May 2nd), I will post the food I eat everyday. I've been wanting to start a food journal and start counting calories. So I will start with keeping track of what, when, and how much I eat on a daily basis.

And when I can, I will follow up with photos (cellphone camera though, so don't get your hopes up high)

I hope I will be more aware of what I eat daily, and finally lose the 5lbs I've gained since last Oct.

writing it down really does help--- in grad school (the worst possible time to ever try to lose weight, by the way), a group of three of us would write down what we'd eaten that day and pass notes to each other about it. Yeah, we were passing notes in gradute school. It was fun.

rebecca i hear ya, losing weight while in school is almost impossible.

crossing my fingers that this method works.
