I really need to get my hair cut, it's been almost 3 months since the last cut and color and the roots are showing. My stylist that does my hair is all the way out in west county (141 and Olive) and with current gas prices and just for convenience sake I think I'm ready to make a switch.
I would love to find somebody that is:
1. in the st. louis city or close vicinity
2. good with stubborn Asian hair (this is probably a tough one to find)
3. does modern cut and color. I'm not looking for avant garde, but since my hair grows out so fast I can take some risk/chances
Do you know anybody that fits the bill? Would you recommend him or her? If so do leave me a comment, I would be eternally grateful. Thanks in advance!

i SO hear you on the travel issues, what with gas cost, hwy 40 closed, and an all around lack of time. my girl is AWESOME, and she is asian herself (thai). she's with mitchell jams salon in brentwood, though (in the Boulevard across from the Galleria)-- so not totally close, but closer than Olive and 141. Her name's Kelle and the # is 314-863-3448 if you don't mind a little bit of a drive.
I go to Emily at Olivers in Lafayette Square. Not asian, but I have very stubborn hair and she seems to make it turn out okay (especially when she dries it-- this task seems impossible to me). They also have a location on Washington Avenue. Visit http://www.oliversstudio.com. The atmosphere is very urban spa-like. It's a nice refuge.
Thank you so much! This is great, I will need to call them this weekend.
